Al is an Advanced Active Isolated Stretching Therapist and Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Nutritionist, Certified Corrective Personal Trainer, Neurokinetic Therapist, Certified FMT,Level 1&2 (Functional Movement Taping), and a Restorative Breathing Practitioner. Al has 16 yrs. experience at Glen Oaks Sport, Spine, and Physical Rehabilitation, and Batavia Back and Neck Center. He has also been certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork as a continuing education provider for Active Isolated Stretching since 2005. Al combines these effective modalities with special emphasis on treatment protocols utilizing Active Isolated Stretching, pre-functional and functional strengthening, followed by home exercise, breath work, and flexibility instruction. Al is also an EBFA global barefoot training specialist. Barefoot training consists of foot posture and gait assessment, as well as corrective measures to change how your feet handle impact forces, and connect to your core. This aides in correction of dysfunction between the feet, knees, hips and low back. He treats patients and clients competently with focus, compassion, and humor to attain the highest possible patient outcomes
